School Groups

Enjoy a beautiful wilderness experience at our 41-acre camp facility set on the shores of Stave Lake in Mission, BC, conveniently located one hour east of Vancouver, BC. Come out to the Zajac Ranch and experience what so many other groups know - our facilities, activities, and service are top notch. The Zajac Ranch has the capability of hosting up to 120 people and we're more than willing to cater to any school group's rental requirements.


Outdoor and Environmental Education Programs

Our programs are curated to relate to your school's specific curriculum. If your goal is to encourage team building and leadership within students - we have activities for you! Or, if your goal is to teach students about topics pertaining to the environment - again, we have activities for you! Please remember, we can personally tailor any activity to your specific needs.

The Zajac Ranch's general objectives of our Outdoor and Environmental Education Programs are based upon a "Learn, Do, and Become" principle:

1. LEARN: Change attitudes, values, awareness, and skills via participation and leadership in programs.

2. DO: Behavioural change through teacher and educators' consistent reminders of experiences that occur at the Zajac Ranch.

3. BECOME: Permanent change in behaviour through repetition of applied attitudes, values, and awareness taught at the Zajac Ranch.

Our programs offer an experience that can directly complement classroom learning. We believe that learning by doing is one of the best ways to learn. Students learn by asking questions, looking, listening, experimenting, and connecting what they discover to what they already know.

Rates

High Season Months (March 1, 2012 - June 15, 2012 and September 1, 2012 - October 31, 2012)

$79 per youth/per night
$89 per adult/per night
Shared accomodations. 3 meals included (one complimentary campfire with smores)

Note: Private rooms available for an additional $10pp/pn. No HST on nightly rate. Additional charges for Activity Programming. All children 2 and under are free. Group size: Minimum of 30 people.

Low Season Months (November 1, 2012 - February 28, 2013)

$69 per person per night

Shared accomodations. 3 meals included (one complimentary campfire with smores)

Note: Private rooms available for an additional $10pp/pn. No HST on nightly rate. Additional charges for Activity Programming. All children 2 and under are free. Group size: Minimum of 20 people.

**Every medical camper that comes to the Zajac Ranch for Children during Summer Medical Camps is automatically subsidized 50% of the cost. Revenue from your group's rental goes towards subsidizing the costs of summer camps. By taking advantage of our facilities and activities, you are helping us raise the spirits of children with serious and chronic illnesses and disabilities.**
